Cenotes of Mayakoba

The Cenotes of Mayakoba is a non-profit exploration project documenting a series of submerged cave systems beneath the Rosewood Mayakoba resort in the northern Yucatán Peninsula. The project's goals are to raise awareness of the Yucatán's fragile cave systems, deepen understanding of their value among the resort's visitors, and fund cave conservation and water-quality work in the region through the project's non-profit partner Project Baseline. I joined the project in 2021 to document the cave systems for the resulting book and short film, and designed the 200-page art book that the project produced.
