Originally from the UK, I moved to Berlin Kreuzberg in 1987 with my family where I grew up bilingually. From a young age, I have been interested in design and photography, making it a natural choice for me to turn my passion into a career.
I earned my diploma in communication and graphic design in 2006. Since then, I have worked as a freelance designer and photographer for several design offices and individual clients. Most notably, handling design needs for large scale events, being a part of branding and re-branding projects for big and small companies as well as working as an event and documentary photographer.
I returned to university from 2009 till 2011 in order to further develop my skill set while continuing to work as a freelancer. I earned my BA in visual and motion design with a focus on photography.
Being a freelancer has enabled me to work from around the globe, thereby giving me the opportunity to follow my fascination for diving and the underwater world. While living in Thailand, Mexico, the UK and the US, I managed to successfully balance my design and dive career by working mostly remotely while also fostering local work relationships.
Now I live (pretty much full time) and work as a graphic designer & photographer in Tulum, Mexico.
